Our fallen tree 🌳 rises again!

We have a redemption story to tell you! Two and a half years ago, Hurricane Matthew’s destructive forces took down one of our old and majestic pecan trees. She was uprooted and landed in the arms of her brother tree, and thankfully not on our 100 year old restaurant. Heartbroken to lose such a piece of history and nature, we reached out to @costellostreeartistry to come gently take her all the way down, and then plane her into thick boards. We knew we wanted her to be made into something special, but weren’t quite sure what. Two years of curing the wood, and we are ready for the big reveal!These beautiful bee benches will be placed in our garden this week! We love the full circle of this bee-utiful story of rebirth!
